I really don't think this flyers team is that great. Marty will have to play well though. |

On paper they looked better last year, still don't like Sievegalov either but that's just my opinion. |

This is a weird situation having Larsson not playing at all it can't be good for his confidence I don't think it can go on to long if we are showcasing a D I hope the trade happens soon cause he can't just sit |

It's crazy to sit Larsson like this. Problem is all other 6 Dmen all are proven NHLers. Something's got to give... hopefully a trade for a forward, and then insert Larsson back in lineup. |

Fayne is one of our better defenseman. The predicament right now is that all six guys that are playing are better or more reliable players right now than Larsson. Some he may be just as good as, but the veteran guys are more reliable.
You have to decide whether the more important thing is winning games or getting Larsson the proper development time. I think it's the former. However, one of these teams like Detroit, LA (with their defensive injuries), or another team will go into panic mode and give the Devils an offer they can't refuse for Tallinder or Volchenkov. The longer Lou waits the better the offers get. |

theres no facts to support many of the statements in your post, for all we know they may be showcasing volchenkov or some other d man and larsson is taking larsson's spot because of this. |

What do you even mean? I don't understand what your saying half the time. What did I say that I needed to put facts in to "support my answer"
It's true as more teams lose players or fall behind, they will go into panic mode and be more likely to up their offers. A team like LA that starts falling off due to injuries to Greene and Mitchell could out of desperation start throwing around a guy like Gagne as trade bait. Another team might up their offer from just a roster player to a roster play and a high pick.
If I want to win games, I'd be putting in the exact line-up that DeBoer is right now. It's the best defensive group we can put together with the roster we have right now, and the main focus for the Devils is to win, in a shortened season, the games mean so much more. |

you said that the players playing are better and more reliable. I disagree with this statement
also disagree that this is the best defensive group that we can put out. larsson instead of volchenkov then i agree. volchenkov is still looking for his pants after boyes made him look like a complete idiot |

Lol u guys. I agree with u zippy. We're going to lose a dman to injury and we won't miss a beat by having Larsson and Harold ready to step in. Maybe well make that d for f trade eventually. No changes until the deadline, or we struggle to win specifically due to lack of offense. |

Definitely not a great Flyers team this year ... at least so far. We're pretty slow on the blue line, and the young 2nd year guys like Couturier and Schenn are struggling big time.
That said, if we had any kind of PP or PK the first couple of games we'd probably have something in the win column.
Good luck tonight and for your season, Devils fans.

Yeah, I'm not used to that.
Unfortunately I will not be able to watch the game tonight and Gamecenter hasn't been uploading games like they're supposed to although the service is really bad at times but what can I do. |

Need to find our legs though. Early goal is nice, but we'll lose this lead soon if we don't start playing better. |
